Wrexham 1 : 0 Charlton

The Red Dragons secured a crucial three points by defeating Charlton at the Racecourse on Saturday. In a hard-fought match that was scoreless until the 77th minute, either team could've pulled ahead but great goalkeeping from each side kept things close.

It was a deadlock until a contentious penalty fell to Wrexham's favor and led to a goal from Josh Windass (77'). The Charlton keeper guessed correctly, but a perfectly placed strike to the bottom corner snuck just out of reach.

Wrexham climb to 13th in the Championship table, a mere four points outside of playoff convention. Unbeaten in their last five games, the team's chemistry seems to be at its highest point so far this season.
